# Name the medicine first

A peptide is a substance built like a short chain, with small parts joined end to end. Some are used as medicines, including insulin. “Peptide injections” does not name one medicine. Ask for the full product name before comparing offers.

## A clear name versus a broad label

Write down the medicine and any brand name. Note whether it is a shot, tablet, or another kind of medicine. Keep the name exactly as given.

### A broad label

“Peptide plan” or “wellness injection” leaves a question open: what is actually being offered?

Compare the same medicine and the same kind, such as a shot or tablet. A broad name like “peptide plan” leaves that unclear.

## Make the product note

- Ask for the active ingredient’s name: it is the substance that does the medicine’s work. 

- Ask whether the medicine comes ready-made or is made to order. 

- Ask what health problem the person deciding your treatment is checking for. 

- Ask why this particular medicine fits that condition. 

## What the term means

Calling something a “peptide” does not show that it is safe or allowed by law.
